MEET THE COMMITTEE

Little Pickles Pre-school and Big Pickles before and after school clubs are charity organisations run by a board of volunteer Trustees. Without this board of volunteers, the settings wouldn’t exist. You can help the setting thrive and improve your CV by joining us.

CHAIR OF TRUSTEES

MOLLY LOUND

Hi, I’m Molly and my son attends Little Pickles (which he loves may I add).

Before Motherhood my career was working with children and their families so I felt my role within the committee would be beneficial as I can share idea’s as a parent and a professional.

I love spending time with my family and our two cheeky dogs. Being a stay at home mum, I don’t get a lot of free time from my little shadow but when I do I love going for massages, reading and going to the theatre. (Also, love a coffee shop!)

If you have something you would like to raise with the Committee please email here.

SECRETARY

SARAH REEVES

I’m Sarah. I have two daughters, my oldest attends little pickles and she loves it!

I was encouraged to join the committee when I looked around the setting with my daughter. I thought it was a great opportunity to give back to the community and enrich the children’s learning further with fundraising and improvements.

I have worked in the past with children as a Swimming instructor and developed skills in helping children achieve their full potential. I have now gone back to my creative routes and I work in the design sector as a creative typesetter/designer.

I spend my free time with my lovely family and seeing my friends.

HR ADVISOR

ALISON PARSONS

I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and over 20 years Human Resources and business experience, the last 10 years at Vice President Level. I have been very lucky to work in many parts of the world including, Singapore, Israel, Jakarta, Philippines, Bulgaria and have enjoyed learning about different cultures and working with people from such diverse cultural backgrounds.

I have a passion for seeing and supporting the development of people at all ages and for influencing high standards of performance in the way a business operates.

I joined the committee as I believe I can add value to the pre-school service, including its employees and the children and parents we serve. I love to dance; particularly Salsa and I had lessons during my 2 years working in Sofia with Bulgarian Salsa champions.

FUNDRAISING LEAD

ELIZABETH MANN

Hi, I’m Elizabeth and I have a daughter who attends Little Pickles. I decided to join the committee to get more involved and support the setting, especially the fundraising side.

I’m a jeweller by trade and have worked for various jewellery companies in London and Lincoln, including our family jewellery shop, which was on Lincoln High Street. I still work with my Dad now and we have a workshop in Nettleham. I also run self catering holiday accommodation with my husband.

I love keeping fit, especially running and spending time with family and friends.

TREASURER

KIRA TAYLOR

Hi, I'm Kira. I have 2 boys that attend the local schools. My eldest attended Big Pickles and then I was able to change my work hours to school hours.

I currently work in an Accounts and Payroll job and have worked in similar roles for 12 years. I love to help out and I'm also treasurer for the local Scouts group.

In my spare time (when I'm not taking my boys to their many clubs and football matches!) I like to read, socialise and go to the gym.

TRUSTEE

AMY MCCLUNG

I have two daughters who have both attended Little Pickles and absolutely loved it! I joined the committee as I thought it would be a great opportunity to support the setting and help give back to the community where possible through the ongoing improvements.

I previously worked in accounts for a well-known local chartered surveyors for 7 years prior to going on maternity leave, which involved managing service charge accounts, budgets and other property management admin. I took a small career break to raise my family and I have now returned to the same company as a marketing administrator, working alongside the agency team.

I don't get much spare time! But where possible I enjoy reading, baking, swimming and spending time with family and friends.

TRUSTEE

MICHELLE MARGRETT

I’m Michelle, I have 2 daughters, both who have attended Little Pickles, with our youngest still attending.

We have seen what amazing growth and development the staff, and setting have helped our girls achieve. I wanted to be part of the committee to help out where I can, and give something back to the local community.

Previously working for a solicitor firm, I currently now work for our family business around busy parent life. In my spare time I love spending time with my family, reading, travelling and keeping fit.
